About Us

Faux Painting Techniques.com works continually to be the best website on the Internet dedicated to faux painting and related painting information.

We not only offer the ability to find supplies, books, videos and an introductory downloadable ebook, but also are preparing a forum for painters to collaborate, get new project ideas, learn more about faux painting and share the fun that faux painting offers.

The main reason we put together this site is due to the lack of websites that offer information on a wide variety of different finishes. If you have spent some time searching the web, we're sure you will agree that most sites only offer 5 - 6 finishes and most are very specific and of little use for other applications. After looking through our site, we believe that you will agree that we offer a great deal of quality information on a great variety of popular finishes.

As well, we also believe in the value of providing a space where painters can share knowledge, ideas and information with other painters from all over the globe. This can be invaluable when faced with a specific problem that you aren't sure how to solve. That's why we're using our resources to set up a faux painting message board. Please stay tuned!

This site is a constant work in progress. Being professional painters ourselves, we come across new finishes and experiment with new techniques all the time. Having said that, we hope that the 21 different finishes that have launched Faux Painting Techniques.com will cover the information you're looking for. If not, get in touch with us. As well, we hope you will visit the site often, as new finishes are being added often.

If you have any comments or suggestions for our site, let us know. We want to hear from you!

Enjoy the site and good luck with your projects!

Bookmark This Site and come back often!
